To fix a wheelchair to a vehicle in good balance in such a way that the tension in right and left wires are the same.

The wheelchair fixing device includes a slide pulley 62, a reel 30r configured to take up a right wire 12r, and a fixing member 21 for fixing the proximal end of a left wire 12f to the vehicle side. The slide pulley 62 is a pulley on which the middle of the left wire 12f and the middle of the right wire 12r are hooked in opposite directions from each other and is configured to slide to the right when the tension of the right wire 12r is larger than the tension of the left wire 12f and to slide to the left when the tension of the left wire 12f is larger than the tension of the right wire 12r.
