Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a wheelchair without limiting a mounting place by fitting a wheel stopper plate switchable to a rising position for restricting the wheelchair and a housing position, and a plate holder mechanism for holding the wheel stopper plate, which is raised up at the rising position, so as to unlock it at the rising position. SOLUTION: A wheelchair fixing device 1 is integrated on the surface of a floor corresponding to a position to load the wheelchair inside a car such as a bus and roughly has a housing 2 fixedly attached to a floor surface 51 while falling into a recess 52 formed on the floor surface 51 and a wheel stopper plate 3 attached to this housing 2 so as to freely vertically turn. Then, this device is composed of a plate holder mechanism 4 for controlling the rising and falling (housing) of that plate 3 and a lock mechanism for forcedly locking the wheel stopper plate 3 from rising to the housing position, or the like. Further, the width of this device from side to side is set so as to set the device over the left and right rear wheels of the wheelchair.
