A plurality of rotating bodies 10 is arranged around each wheel of the wheelchair so that the bodies 10 may rotate in the direction perpendicular to the straight forwarding direction of the wheelchair. Each rotating body 10 is rotatably supported around the axial line X1 of its rotating shaft which intersects the radial direction from its axle and the diameter of its front end section 12 is made smaller that that of its base-side end section 11 so that the peripheral surface of the body 10 may constitute a partial arc of the outer circumferential edge of the wheel. The front end section 12 partially enters into a recessed section 25 formed on the base-side end section 11 so that the section 12 may be brought closer to the base-side end section 11 of the adjacent rotating body 10.
