To avoid breakage of blades, reduce load of a brake system, and avoid collapse of a frame by stalling rotation speed of the blades accompanying strong wind.
This invention is a kind of a device and a method for avoiding wind for a wind turbine generator. If the wind turbine generator faces wind power greater than safe wind speed, directions of blades and a machine room are changed by starting a wind avoidance device, and rotation plane of the blades is set in parallel with a wind direction.
