To provide a method of controlling the wind direction of an air conditioner that delivers intensive diffused air flow from air outlets to improve the comfortableness of a living space and create a comfortable living environment faster.
In an air conditioner that has wind direction vertical vanes divided into three portions horizontally comprising the central wind direction vertical vane 19a and right and left wind direction vertical vanes 19b and that also has neuro-stabilization control, the angles of a plurality of wind direction right and left vanes 20 are set at such positions as to bring the direction of delivered wind toward the center at the time of neuro-stabilization. While the angle of the central wind direction vertical vane 19a of the above-mentioned wind direction vertical vanes divided into three portions is set at the position where air outlets open, the angles of the right and left wind direction vertical vanes 19b are set at the positions where the air outlets open slightly from their close positions.
