To provide a winding apparatus of split cores which can be assembled at low cost, having proper workability by minimizing the number of joints, e.g., solder joints, without using a bus bar.
The winding apparatus includes a support arm 30 bonded to the rotating shaft for winding; a core holder 35, which is supported by the support arm 30 to be rotated or fixed at a predetermined angle through a rotation spindle 33; a plurality of core holding portions 37, which has the split cores 1 attached and removed provided on the periphery of the core holder; and a conductor feeder which feeds a conductor W to the split cores 1, wherein the split cores 1 are sequentially arranged, at positions projecting in the same direction as the rotating shaft for winding, by rotating the core holder 35 around the rotation spindle 33, and the interval of the core holding portions 37 is set so that a crossover W1 from one split core 1 to next split core 1 is long enough to extend along the periphery of the core, when the split cores 1 are assembled, within a range where the conductor W does not interfere with an adjoining split core 1, when it is wound.
