Concerning the traverse-type or flyer-type winding machine for producing the saddle type deflecting coil by respectively mounting convex and concave winding dies on a rotary board, rotationally driving the rotary board in the state of coupling the convex and concave winding dies by pressing them from the horizontal and vertical sides, and winding a coil wire 4 composed of single or plural insulated wires around the spatial parts of the convex and concave winding dies by rotating a rotary arm 8, to which a wire nozzle 5 is attached in the prescribed direction, the wire nozzle 5 is constituted of wire nozzles 5 of a number corresponding to the coil wire 4.
