To provide a windproof tile which enables a sure windproof effect to be expected, without adding a new member or a new process to conventional roofing work, and which enables the omission of conventional nailing for fixation and the like.
This windproof tile is a clay tile where an under-lapping part 21 and an overlap part 22 are provided on the right and left sides of a plate part 23, and anti-come-off protrusions 3 and 3 protruding downward are provided on the backside of a tail end 24 thereof. When the protrusions 3 and 3 are pressed in and inserted between opening edges 42 and 42 of a crossbar member 4 made of an elastic material and having an upward opened groove part 41 with the opening edges 42 and 42 formed narrower than an inside, an engaging thick part 31a, which is formed continuously from a neck part 31b of a tip part 31 of the protrusion 3, is assembled to the opening edge 42 of the crossbar member 4 in an anti-come-off state.
