To provide a wind spreading device with a torsion bar, which can spread outer wings from a folded condition for transportation.

A torsion bar 2 having an inner and outer double structure is provided to a hinge part 08 which is in turn provided to a wind fixing part 03 of an outer wing 05 having a proximal end part attached rotatably journalled, in parallel with a barrel 04. The inner and outer shafts of the torsion bar are fixed together at their one end, and the inner shaft is fixed at the other end to either the wing fixing part 03 or the outer wing 05 while the outer shaft is connected to at the other end to either the outer wing or the wind fixing part. Due to the double structure of the torsion bar, the length of the torsion bar can be shortened, thereby it is possible to allow the aerodynamic shape of the hinge part to be excellent.
