To obtain a stable wiping property by a web.SOLUTION: A wiping unit 30 of a wiping device 1 holds a delivery roller 5 as an axial core member of a delivery side roll 4A which a web 4 as a band-like first wiping member is wound around, and a winding roller 6 as an axial core member of a winding side roll 4B which the web 4 delivered from the delivery side roll 4A is wound around, and includes a blade-like wiper 14 as a second wiping member for wiping a wiping object. The wiper 14 is arranged so as to rotate between a first position in which a cleaning liquid 20 is provided, and a second position in which the wiper contacts with the web 4 and the provided cleaning liquid 20 is provided to the web 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
