Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the workability of a titled wire and to improve the notch toughness of deposited metal by forming said wire of the specific compsn. steel contg. a slightly large amt. of C, respectively ordinary ranges of Cr and Mo and respectively proper amts. of Si and Mn.
CONSTITUTION: This wire for narrow groove gas shielded welding has the following compsn: It contains 0.10W0.15% C, 025W0.45% Si, 0.90W1.20% Mn, 2.30W 2.70 Cr, and 0.90W1.20 Mo, contains ≤0.05% Ti according to need, and consists of the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities. This wire has good workability as a wire for welding heat resistant steel of a narrow groove and yields the deposited parts having high notch toughness.
