Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure safety of operation of SATSUMA (a connection method by interwinding wires) inserting part of a wire rope having an eye splice part and adopt also to severe operation conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A SATSUMA inserting part 3 of a wire rope 1 equipped with an eye splice part is covered with an ingot mold and a two-pack type thermosetting resin is poured therein and the resin is cured and removed from the mold to form a grip 4 integrally covered with the thermosetting resin.
