Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a wire saw and its manufacture by which the manufacturing cost can be reduced and noise, vibration, etc., during cutting can also be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: A wire saw 22 is composed of a wire rope 24, multiple beads 30 fitted at a space to each other on the outer side of the wire rope 24, and a heat-shrinking tube 32 coated closely on the outer side of the beads 30 and the wire rope 24. Also the bead 30 is composed of a cylindrical sleeve 26 and a cutting abrasive grain layer 28 formed on the outer side of the sleeve 26.
