Abstract:
To provide a wire raw formed so that it can easily and quickly cope with the change in a work pitch.
This wire saw has a single wire spirally wound between wire guide grooves in a plurality of rollers so as to machine a workpiece by a plurality of rows of the wires running between a pair of the rollers adjacent to a workpiece work part. In the wire saw, the rollers 10a, 10b are constituted by respectively clamping a plurality of sheaves 13 having one wire guide groove in an external peripheral surface to a roller shaft 15 through a clamp device 14, and also a sheave mover device moving the sheave 13 along the roller shaft 15 by releasing a clamp from outside by the clamp device 14.
