PURPOSE: To obtain a wiring box structure in which a wiring box for branching a wiring part does not protrude from a floor member when the floor member having a thickness of several centimeters is installed on a building floor face in a building or the like in such a way that the wiring part to an indoor apparatus can be changed after the building has been constructed.
CONSTITUTION: A wiring box is formed in such a way that a thin dish-shaped housing box 1 is fixed, that an edge material 2 is fixed onto it and that a lid plate 3 which is freely opened and shut is formed on its inside opening 2c. A plug socket 5 is housed inside the housing box 1 via a coupling means 4, and it is fixed to the sidewall of the housing box 1 via a lug 6b for a mounting case 6. A space S is formed inside the housing box 1 between the coupling means 4 and the plug socket, the plug socket 2 is of a single type, it is fixed in such a way that its thin part is fixed so as to be directed in the up-and-down direction, and its whole thickness is set to nearly $/the same level as a floor member.
