PURPOSE:To get a withdrawing device light and easy in handling by storing a high tensile strength rope whose tip is provided with a connector for underwater object so that it may be possible to draw out, in a rope storing cylinder capable of mounting on or demounting from an unmanned submarine machine and suspending the rope storing cylinder so that it may be possible to pull up from a ship. CONSTITUTION:When withdrawing an underwater object 14 from the sea bottom B by using a withdrawing device 1, first the withdrawing device 1 is transported by an unmanned submarine machine 6 and submerged to the sea bottom B where the underwater object 14 exists. Next, an anchor hardware 4 is inserted into the hole 14A of the underwater object 14 by a manipulator 8 and then made to part from the manipulator 8. Then, the suspended end part 5 of a rope 16 is tied to the end part, on the unmanned submarine machine 6 side, of a tezar cable 7 in advance. Next the tezar cable 7 is pulled up to a work ship 11 and a high tensile strength rope 2 is gradually drawn out from a rope storing cylinder 3 in the condition where the anchor hardware 4 is locked in the underwater object 14. And then the suspension end part 5 of a rope 16 and the end part of the high tensile strength rope 2 are withdrawn up to a work ship 11 and the underwater object 14 is withdrawn.
