Abstract:
To improve joining work of a head body comprising a plurality of shell parts and a joint strength thereof.
A head body 1 is joined and formed by various shell parts which are divided in three ... a face surface side shell part 11, a crown surface side shell part 12 and a sole surface side shell part 14 containing a surrounding side side shell part 13. An opening part 3 is formed at a heel side end part 2 of the head body 1 by mutually joining heel side end parts 11a, 12a and 14a of the respective shell parts 11, 12 and 14. A hosel member 4 is joined at the opening part 3 while the heel side end parts 11a, 12a and 14a of the respective shell parts 11, 12 and 14 are joined on the hosel member 4.
