Title:
WOODEN AUDIO RACK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002253363
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a wooden audio rack 10 which can be assembled easily and quickly, can be manufactured at a lower cost, and can make use of row woods effectively.

A wooden audio rack is made up of legs, which have smooth surfaces 12a on the top and bottom formed in a pair by cutting off both sides of periphery of a log and have slits 12b formed on each smooth surface 12a, and a wooden shelf board 11 with slits 11a on the bottom. The legs are joined to the shelf board 11 by fitting dowels 13 into the slits 12b on the legs 12 and the slits 11a on the shelf board 11. As the shelf board 11 and the legs 12 are assembled with the dowels 13, the assembling work is done in a short period of time. The cost to manufacture the audio rack can be reduced as the log which has gone through only the process of cutting the periphery of the log to make the both sides smooth surfaces 12a is used for the legs 12.
