Title:
WORK DIMENSION ERROR CORRECTING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02293909
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the working accuracy and to improve the productivity by measuring a work position in every direction in which a dimension error is generated by the arm tip of a robot itself, and bringing the dislocation quantity to parallel movement in this direction. CONSTITUTION:A sensor body 10 is provided with a high accuracy switch 11 on its tip, and installed so as to be freely attachable and detachable in a deburring grinder 13 by a pedestal 12. A contact signal of the high accuracy switch 11 passes through a lead wire 14 and a connector 15 and inputted to a CPU from an ATC plate 16 for an automatic tool changer. In this state, at the time of deburring of large-size casting, a dimension error is corrected by measuring the dislocation quantity against a position brought to teaching in advance by the switch 11 attached to the arm tip of a teaching play-back type robot. That is, a work position is measured in the direction in which the dimension error is generated, and the robot coordinate is brought to parallel movement in its direction. In such a way, the working can be executed with high accuracy without necessitating a peripheral equipment of a large scale.
