Title:
WORK FIXING POLISHING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0398756
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To adjust polishing time by charging works fixed at a long-sized line body successively from the work charging side of a polishing machine.

CONSTITUTION: When a take-up drum is rotated after a vibrating motor 8 is started and a work 13 is fitted on the charging side 10a of a long-sized line body 10, specified vibration is generated in a barrel 2, and polishing material flows spirally in a hose 1 to move in a direction 14. As the long-sized line body 10 moved in a direction 15, the work 13 moves in the same direction and is polished with a polishing material in the hose 1. In this case, the passing time of the work 13 across the whole length of the barrel 2 is determined according to the nature and required machining degree of the work 13, and on the basis of this, the take-up speed of a take-up drum 12 is set. The machined work is then removed in the position where the long-sized line body 10 comes out of a work discharge opening 4. Continuous polishing can be thus performed, as well as the optimum time can be set every time the kind of the work is changed.
