This work management system includes: a work management server 10 for searching and recording the attendance states such as overtime work hours and the like of respective workers from boot/finish times of business personal computers 301-30n; and a control management server 20 that calculates reference start and finish times from the attendance states recorded in the server 10 and stores, as a threshold, an attendance state to be a reference of the workers based on the calculation results. Each business personal computer transmits boot information representing that the computer has been booted to the control management server 20, and the server 20 searches a current attendance state of each worker based on a time when receiving the booting information, compares it with the threshold and determines the current attendance state.
