Abstract:
To provide a workpiece side surface molding device capable of performing molding on a side surface of a workpiece in a process of a multiple heading machine.SOLUTION: A workpiece side surface molding device 1 includes: a die 23 which holds a workpiece W in a state of opening at least a part of a side surface in a width direction of the workpiece W; a punch 26 which is operated in a longitudinal direction of the held workpiece W; a side surface molding punch 45 which is driven in the width direction of the workpiece W by the operation of the punch 26 and performs molding on the opened side surface of the workpiece W; and a recovery drive member 65 which drives the side surface molding punch 45 after performing the molding in a direction keeping away from the side surface of the workpiece W. The workpiece side surface molding device is incorporated into any one process of a multiple process heading machine 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
