CONSTITUTION: A grip part 2 constituted of a groove 3 and a nipping piece 4 is formed in the longitudinal direction onto an endless-belt-shaped transportation member 1 which is elastic and bendable such as hard rubber, etc. and wound onto pulleys 9a and 9b and driven, and an insertion member 5 which is inwardly shifted relatively with the transportation member 1 is inserted into the groove 3 of the grip part 2 by the grip part for a workpiece W, and the nipping piece is pushed-open. At this time, also the workpiece W is inserted into the grip part 2 by attaching the workpiece W together with the insertion member 5. Then, the insertion member 5 is shifted relatively outward and separated from the grip part 2. The workpiece can be demounted from the grip part 2 by pressing the work by a pressing piece 17. Therefore, the automatic handling for the workpiece is permitted.
