Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-Y table by which an actual positional change of a workpiece can be correctly grasped and also capable of correctly transferring loaded workpiece along the bottom rail group and improving the processing accuracy by making such contrivance that plural driving means for driving the bottom table may exert no bad influence on the positional control of mutual counterparts.
SOLUTION: Such constitution is provided that the detecting part 18a of a Y-axis linear encoder 18 is installed in such a place where approximately center of Y shaft rail groups 15, 16 (concretely a center rail 16) makes reciprocating linear movement in one body with a Y-table 14 and also on the basis of detected result of this linear encoder 18, two sets of Y-axis linear motor 17 (second driving means) make positional control of the Y-table 14.
