To provide a working machine capable of properly detecting a position of a roller.SOLUTION: A working machine 10 including a motor that has a drive shaft, a speed reduction mechanism into which the turning force of the drive shaft is input, a driven shaft that rotates with the turning force output by the speed reduction mechanism, and a roller 58 that operates with the turning force transmitted by the driven shaft and processes a folding object 84, comprises: a first detector that detects a position of the drive shaft in the rotation direction and outputs a signal; a second detector that detects a position of the driven shaft in the rotation direction and outputs a signal; and a controller that controls suspension and rotation of the drive shaft on the basis of at least one of the signal output by the first detector and the signal output by the second detector, operates and suspends the roller 58 between an initial position and a working position, and has a processing part 58 process the folding object 84.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
