To facilitate the formation of varied segment faces even in blade surfaces with a narrow surface area by grinding the blade surfaces of scissors in which outside lines of the transverse sections and the longitudinal sections of blade bodies both form a convex curve to arrange a number of segment faces surrounded by an edge line.
For example, the outline of transverse sections forms a convex curve in scissors 1a with blade bodies 3 thereof presenting a shape of a clam before the working of blade surfaces 2. The two blade bodies 3 are curved gently on the side of the blade surfaces in the longitudinal direction thereof and slid by a proper touch pressure so that the outline of longitudinal sections forms a convex curve. The blade surfaces 2 are ground flat and a number of oval segment faces 4a are arranged across the width and along the length of the blade bodies 3. The type of a surface grinder is not specifically limited only if capable of grinding flatly. For example, a grinding wheel can be used with a flat grind stone on the circumferential surface of a disc-shaped spindle. Thus, a beautiful scattered reflection occurs with the movement of the scissors 1a thereby making the scissors shine brightly and look clean.
