PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for the corner-rounding polishing of both end open peripheries of guide holes and for the finish polishing of the inner circumferential surfaces thereof, and to facilitate the cleaning after working by the combined action of both the fluid machining action due to a high-fluidity polishing liquid and the ultrasonic machining action due to an ultrasonic oscillator.
CONSTITUTION: When a polishing liquid 6 is filled in the interior of upper and lower media cylinders 1 and upper and lower pistons 2, 3 are synchronously reciprocated up and down, the polishing liquid 6 inside the cylinders 1 is pressurized and flows upward or downward; when the polishing liquid 6 flows upward, it flows upward from below through the guide holes 7 in a guide member provided inside a jig 9, and when the polishing liquid 6 flows downward, it flows downward from above through the guide holes 7, thereby the inner circumferential surfaces are subjected to fluid machining action by the polishing liquid 6. Further, since the fluid resistance at both end open peripheries of guide holes 7 is largest, the corner-rounding is performed there, and at the same time ultrasonic oscillators 4, 5 oscillate to emit ultrasonic waves, and the ultrasonic vibration is transmitted to the polishing liquid 6 to vibrate it, thereby grains of polishing powder in the liquid are uniformly dispersed, thus smooth polishing surfaces can be obtained.
