To provide a wrist rest assembly fitting to the wrist of a user who operates a keyboard for comfortably supporting it to facilitate movement of the wrist.
This wrist rest assembly (10) is placed and used in front of a device operated by man's hands or fingers, for example, the keyboard (11) of a computer. The wrist rest assembly (10) has a thin long base (14) and a thin long pad (17) supported on it, and the thin long pad (17) is provided with a gel layer (19) in a cover. The pad (17) has sufficient thickness between an upper surface and a bottom surface and sufficient width between both edges. A part of the gel layer matches the shape of the user's wrist to be supported and supports the wrist which contacts the upper surface. The upper surface of the pad can move by a considerable amount with the supported wrist against the bottom surface provided in a plane practically parallel to the upper surface of the base.
