Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make an easy-to-see display of the information and to improve the operation of a keyboard by selecting the display direction of input information on a wrist watch type calculator to be displayed through simple button operation. CONSTITUTION:On bands 7 and 8 for fixing armor case 1 around a wrist, keyboards 5 and 6 having various keys for setting the time and inputting numbers and instructions of calculation are arranged. At the side part of case 1, mode selection button 3 for alternating the timer function and calculating function is provided and further, display direction selection button 4 for selecting the direction of display information to be displayed on display unit 2 is provided closely to the above- mentioned button 3. This button 4 has two alternation positions; at one alternation position, the direction of the display information to be displayed on display unit 2 is set at right angles to the lengthwise direction of bands 7 and 8 and at the alternation position, it is set in parallel to that to make an easy-to-see display of the information while improving the operations of the keyboards with the area widened.
