To provide an X-ray CT (Computed Tomography) apparatus allowing smooth comprehension of an inflow region of a contrast medium and relation between the region and a peripheral region.
A collection part scans a subject by X-rays and repeatedly collects data. A storage part prestores a reference image representing a prescribed range including a region of interest of the subject. A control part controls the collection part to make the collection part execute the scanning to the prescribed range of the subject administered with a contrast medium. An image generation part sequentially generates contrast images of the subject based on the data repeatedly collected through the scanning. An image composition part generates a composite image representing a state where a portion of interest representing the region of interest in the reference image and a contrast radiographic portion representing the contrast medium made to flow into a prescribed region are superposed.
