Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the exposure of X rays to an area wherein its radiation is not required by providing a control means for switching a range in which pixel information is made ready to read out by a reading means or for driving a stop interlocking the image pickup range to obtain an image with higher resolutions.
CONSTITUTION: Reading signals S1-S2048 rising sequentially to a higher level are written into an RAM7a of a control section 7 to collect a matrix pixel of 2048×2048 in a photographing mode while switch drive signals SY1-SY2048 into a RAM7b. For example in the case of a lung, a solely desired area in the image is read to collect the matrix image of 512×512 at a rate of 30 frames per sec. For example, the reading signals S769 to S1280 and the switch drive signals SY769 to SY1280 are written. Thus, information in this area is read out with a two-dimensional solid detector 6 to be written into a memory through an integrator block 8, an A/D convertor block 9 and an arithmetic section thereby enabling photographing in a small scale and a t a high speed.
