To obtain a halation-free image while ensuring a proper S/N ratio in a concerned region.
An X-ray image fluoroscope is equipped with a means for acquiring fluoroscopic image data or imaging image data from the transmission X-rays of a subject while changing the irradiation condition of X-rays of an X-ray source, a means for synthesizing the imaging image data respectively acquired by a plurality of X-ray irradiation pulses continued in a time series manner when the imaging image data are acquired, and a means for imagewise displaying the synthesized imaging image data or the fluoroscopic image data. This apparatus is further equipped with a means for specifying a halation part on the basis of the fluoroscopic image data, a means for operating the time of X-ray irradiation pulses for suppressing the halation part from the halation part and a means for setting the operated X-ray irradiation pulse time to one pulse among the X-ray irradiation pulses and outputting the imaging image data due to the set time of X-ray irradiation pulses to the synthesizing means.
