Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure the satisfactory XXX decoding characteristic by controlling the decoding characteristic of a low frequency band at an input part of an XXX demodulating circuit so as to reduce the burden on control or to prevent the increase of the control system scale when the decoding characteristics is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: It is possible to simultaneously control both low and high frequency bands in regard of the fluctuation of the signal level that is caused by the output of a DEMOD circuit 1 by inserting a level control circuit 13 into the output of the circuit 1, i. e., the input of an XXX demodulating circuit. That is, a conventional control circuit is deleted for the low band frequency and no control is required for an RMS.DET circuit 9. Then a necessary low band frequency signal is supplied for correction of the XXX decoding characteristic of a low frequency band. In this respect, the output signal level of the circuit 1 is controlled by a level control circuit 13 so as to secure the optimum output signal level of a VCA circuit 4. This means that the signal levels of all frequency bands necessary for the XXX demodulating circuit are controlled then.
