Abstract:
To provide a yam in a sealed bag, causing no itch on the skin in handling, and allowing a user to cook at will, capable of being brought on the market without making it a frozen product because of being preservable over a long period.
This yam housed in a sealed bag is obtained by housing a peeled yam in a bag to be sealed; wherein the yam has a flat part longitudinally formed at a part of its outer periphery, and the yam is preferably housed together with seasoning.
