Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image development, which has excellent properties of charging, developing, transfer, fixing, cleaning, especially those of phto-transparency, coloring and transfer, and satisfies the demands for high image quality and reliability.
SOLUTION: The present invention comprises the yellow toner comprising at least resin particles and a yellow colorant which characteristically satisfies the following expressions, where A (mg/cm2) represents the amount of a toner per area of an unfixed image; B represents a brightness value on the surface of a fixed image; C represents a fixed image density; H represents a haze value when the toner is transferred onto an OHP(overhead projector) sheet; D50V represents a volume-average particle diameter; GSDv represents a volume- average particle size distribution index; SF1 represents a shape factor: A=0. 15 to 0.45, B=15 to 70, C≥2.0×A+0.6, H≤40, D50V=2 to 7 μm, GSDv≤1.25, SF1=110 to 140, its producing method, a developer thereof, and a method of forming images thereby.
