Title:
ZINC ALLOY ELECTROPLATING BATH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59215492
Kind Code:
A

CONSTITUTION:A Zn-Cu or Zn-Cu-Sn alloy plating bath contg. potassium pyrophosphate is prepd. To the bath are added a polymer or a copolymer of alkanolpolyamine and epihalohydrin as a brightener and a polymer or a copolymer of alkylamine or alkylpolyamine and epihalohydrin as a complexing agent. When Sn is added to form a ternary alloy film, the luster is increased, and the color tone is made yellow and uniform. Polyoxycarboxylic acid may be added. It is effective in preventing the settling of Zn, complexing Cu, and making the color tone uniform.
