Abstract:
To provide a zinc battery control method and electrical power system using the zinc battery that can extend the life of the zinc battery in a standby state while holding a charged state.SOLUTION: A control method, being a method of placing a zinc battery in a standby state while holding a charged state, includes: a charging step S1 of charging a zinc battery; and a self discharging step S2 of suspending charging/discharging control for the zinc battery and reducing the charging rate of the zinc battery through self discharging.
