CONSTITUTION: This lens is provided with a first lens group G1 with negative refracting power, a second lens group G2 with positive refracting power, a third lens group G3 with positive refracting power, and a fourth lens group G4 with negative refracting power sequentially observing from an object side, and it is constituted so that each lens group is moved so as to narrow a gap between the first lens group G1 and the second lens group G2, and to widen the gap between the second lens group G2 and the third lens group G3, and to narrow the gap between the third lens group G3 and the fourth lens group G4 relatively when variable power is applied, and various kinds of conditions can be satisfied.
