Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article comprising a top sheet primarily composed of water-retentive fibers and capable of suppressing leak of excretory fluid by suppressing wrinkles and twists.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a top sheet primarily composed of water-retentive fibers, a back sheet and an absorber having an absorbent core. The absorbent core includes a front core part, a rear core part and a narrow intermediate core part. The absorbent article further comprises an embossed part formed by embossing the top sheet and the absorber. The embossed part includes a pair of main embossed grooves respectively extending in the vertical direction, and an independent embossed part disposed to be spaced rearward from the pair of main embossed grooves. The pair of main embossed grooves have forward constricted parts constricted laterally inward, and rearward constricted parts constricted laterally inward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
