Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance light-receiving efficiency or the brightness of a screen, by setting the aperture ratio at 100% or approaching the aperture ratio to 100% as much as possible.SOLUTION: In an active matrix array substrate, pixel electrodes that are connected via a switching element are arranged two-dimensionally. In the active matrix array substrate, one pixel electrode and the other pixel electrode, arranged contiguously to the one pixel electrode in the extension direction of a gate line or the extension direction of a source line, are formed, respectively, on different layers laminated with an interlayer insulation layer interposed therebetween.
