Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device that is capable of a stable traverse operation even at a high speed, by solving problems where a nut part being engaged to the screw groove of a feed screw is disengaged from the screw groove or the vibration of the head becomes large when moving the head by rapid acceleration or deceleration in the disk device.
SOLUTION: In a disk device, a head-fixing part of a rack and a nut part 7 are connected by a cantilever parallel spring 21. Also, to solve a problem where a head base 3 vibrates when it slides, a shaft retainer 20 for energizing a position away in an axial direction of guide shafts 9 and 10 from a guide groove 11 that is engaged to the guide shafts 9 and 10 is provided. Further, to effectively suppress the vibration in arbitrary direction being generated at the head base 3, a direction of force that a rack energizes a feed screw 5 is orthogonally crossed to a direction of force where the shaft retainer 20 energizes the guide shafts 9 and 10 for arrangement.
