Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity type vane pump capable of reducing pulse pressure more.SOLUTION: A vane pump (1) comprises a cam ring (33). The cam ring (33) is formed into an annular shape and its inner peripheral side is formed with a plurality of pump chambers (38) together with a rotor (31) and a vane (32). When a region between an end part of an intake port (221) and an end part of a discharging port (222) is defined as a closing region, an inner peripheral surface (330) of the cam ring (33) is formed in such a way that a change in capacity variation amount at the pump chamber (38) at a side of one closing region may have an external value in a direction for restricting a change in discharging amount at the time of communication or shutting off at or near a timing where the pump chamber (38) at the side of the other closing region is communicated with or shut off against the discharging port (222).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
