Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the quality of a grain oriented silicon steel sheet is made remarkably dependent on a separation agent for annealing used in an annealing step, and the improvement in the properties of magnesium oxide used as a separation agent for annealing has been found.SOLUTION: Provided is magnesium oxide particles being fine particles and excellent in dispersibility, and, by using the magnesium oxide as a separation agent for annealing, the adhesion with a steel sheet is made high, and, further, forsterite (MgSiO) can be formed at low temperature, thus a grain oriented silicon steel sheet of high quality can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: None
