Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball shooting unit of a game machine capable of effectively enhancing shooting intensity of game balls by a ball shooting rod.SOLUTION: A ball shooting unit 1 of a game machine 6 includes: a shooting rod 3 for shooting a game ball 8; an exciting coil 23 for generating a magnetic field for attracting the ball shooting rod 3; and a stationary core 4 having a portion disposed inside the exciting coil 23. The ball shooting rod 3 includes a movable core 34 disposed inside the exciting coil 23. A substantially entire part of an outer peripheral side with a rotational center 32 defined as a center, of the movable core 34, includes an arc-shaped movable-side facing surface 341, formed thereon along a circular orbit C with the rotational center 32 defined as a center. The stationary core 4 includes an arc-shaped stationary-side facing surface 411, formed thereon along the circular orbit C, facing the movable-side facing surface 341. In a process where the ball shooting rod 3 is rotationally turned, the movable core 34 and the stationary core 4 face each other only at the movable-side facing surface 341 and the stationary-side facing surface 411.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
