Abstract:
To provide a bathing apparatus having a drain plug to be opened/closed manually, where hot water supply to a bathtub is inhibited without supplying hot water to the bathtub when the drain plug is in an open state.SOLUTION: A bathing apparatus for assisting bathing comprises: a bathtub having drain plugs 8a, 8b; a hot water storage tub; a hot water transfer path through which hot water flows, the hot water transfer path being connected to the bathtub and the hot water storage tub; an operation part (pedal 70) that is connected to the drain plugs 8a, 8b and opens/closes the drain plugs 8a, 8b; a detection unit (limit switch 86) for detecting action of the operation part; and a control unit for controlling movement of hot water. The operation part is a component to be operated using a foot. When the detection unit detects the drain plugs 8a, 8b being open, the control unit inhibits supply of hot water from the hot water storage tub to the bathtub.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
