Abstract:
To provide a bathtub apparatus capable of detecting a cardiac signal sufficiently even when warm water is discharged by a water discharge device into a bathtub.SOLUTION: A bathtub apparatus (1) having a cardiac signal detection function comprises: a bathtub body (2) formed in an approximately rectangular shape in a plane view; a water discharge device (8) which is installed above a first inner wall surface (2a) that constitutes a narrow side of the bathtub body and discharges warm water into the inside of the bathtub body; and electrodes (4a, 4b, 4c) attached to the bathtub body to detect a bather's cardiac signal via warm water retained in the bathtub body. The electrodes are disposed on the inner wall surface of the bathtub body, and nearer to the first inner wall surface than the position (P) where the warm water discharged from the water discharge device lands on the surface of the warm water retained in the bathtub body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
