Abstract:
A driver's seat (3) is disposed on the left side of the front floor (2) of the automobile body and a passenger seat (4) is disposed on the right side of the front floor (2). Provided below the instrument panel (6) on the driver's seat (3) side are a brake pedal (8) and an accelerator pedal (9) disposed on the right side of the brake pedal (8). A cover member (10) protruding into the passenger compartment of the automobile body is disposed below the instrument panel (6) between the driver's seat (3) and the passenger seat (4). The cover member (10) is provided with a pedal support surface (101b) that is disposed on the right side of the accelerator pedal (9) and extends along the movement direction of the accelerator pedal (9).
