Abstract:
To improve the durability of a sealing layer formed at an end of a base member.SOLUTION: A ceramic filter includes a base member formed of a ceramic porous body, a filtration membrane formed on a surface of the base member, and a sealing layer that is composed of the same materials as the materials included in the base member and the filtration membrane, the sealing layer having a maximum pore diameter of less than or equal to 1.0 μm as measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
