Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method that can surely wash metal article soiled by cutting fluid or the like without using a cleaning liquid such as organic solvent.SOLUTION: The washing method according to the present invention includes a high pressure steam washing step (step ST9) in which, via a pressure vessel containing aluminum pipes soiled with cutting fluid, steam is circulated in a state of highly saturated steam having a vapor saturation degree not less than 100% and the cutting fluid is washed by a soft hydrothermal process. It was confirmed that fats/oils such as cutting fluid and other organic material can be reliably wash and removed from metal article.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
