Abstract:
To provide a timepiece having an electrostatic induction type of a driving device which can suppress influence of static electricity flowing from the outside.SOLUTION: The timepiece includes: a conductive external case; conductive operational members 81 and 82 inserted in the inside of the external case through an opening in the external case, the operational members receiving an operation of a user; an electret substrate 110 having an electret surface where a charged electret film 111 is formed; and an electrostatic motor 200 including a counter substrate and a rotational shaft 150, the counter substrate having an electrode facing the electret film 111 and the rotational shaft rotating the electret substrate 110 and the counter substrate relatively. The operational members 81 and 82 and the external case are made conductive by a conduction route which is not overlapped with the electret surface in a planer view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
